The MacsQuant Tyto is a microchip based 2-way cell sorter. The sorting process takes place in a sterile cartridge under low pressure (<3 PSI) and therefore facilitates a gentle cell sorting process. This even enables sequential sorts with an above-average cell survival rate.

The Tyto is equipped with 3 lasers (405, 488 and 638 nm) and 8 fluorescence channels.
