Research and publishing
The BIS Library and Information System supports you in your research and publishing activities. We offer a number of services in the areas of publishing and research data management as well as media technology and production; classrooms are available for instruction and the library auditorium for events (e.g. workshops, presentations).
This includes the services of the University of Oldenburg Press (UOLP), the printery and media design dept. as well as support for open-access publishing, esp. regarding the open access publication fund (financing options, procedures, DEAL and other transformative agreements).

Affiliation Guideline
On Nov. 16, 2023, the presidential board issued the guideline on standardized wording of the affiliation in scientific publications („Richtlinie der Carl von Ossietzky Universität Oldenburg für die standardisierte Angabe der Affiliation in wissenschaftlichen Publikationen”, Drs.P/2023/503).
