Reichart Prize 2025: Science prize open to all disciplines

This year, the Academy of Non-Profit Sciences in Erfurt, together with the state capital Erfurt and the universities located there, is once again organising the Reichart Prize - Erfurt Young Talent Award for Applied Sciences. All information about the competition can be found on the website.

Online event series: Meet-the-Data@Bildungsdaten

Are you looking for data for your term paper, dissertation or doctoral thesis? The event series of the Consortium for the Social, Behavioural, Educational and Economic Sciences (KonsortSWD - NFDI4Society) is launching a series of events on data sets and advises on data access and data use. Starting from 13 March! More information at www.konsortswd.de/en/.
 

Permanent qualification programmes

Good academic practice and generative AI
How should research results be documented? How to cite correctly? How do you deal with image sources? The eLearning course provides answers to questions about correct scientific work
Good academic practice in the doctorate.

NEW: At the end of 2024, the University of Oldenburg published general recommendations for dealing with (generative) AI in the doctoral field published.

Measures to ensure equal opportunities at the UOL
Are you doing your doctorate with a chronic illness or disability and would like support during the challenging time of further academic qualification? Are you taking on family responsibilities during your doctorate and looking for guidance and support? The University of Oldenburg offers the following measures to improve your work-life balance:

  • Individual coaching
  • Funds for the temporary employment of assistants
