Light microscopy often is a useful completion to electron microscopy. On demand we offer service and support within the limits of our possibilities. We are equipped with several light microscopes (ZEISS) which allow bright field, phase-contrast, DIC, and fluorescence light microscopy. Photographs are stored in digitized form.

Zeiss Axioskop 2 epifluorescence microscope is equiped with 3 filters for imaging: DAPI (UV),  FITC (green GFP) and Chlorophyll, with 63x Oil, 1,25 NA objective and Zeiss Kamera AxioCam 305 Color.

The microscope is operated by ZEN 2.3 SP1 Blue software. 

The service unit is equipped with 2 stereo microscopes from Leica and Zeiss, which can be used to align and control samples.
