When submitting written examination papers, including the bachelor's thesis, the student must certify in writing that he or she has written or designed the paper independently and has not used any sources or aids other than those specified (e.g., Citavi, R, etc.) and that they have followed the general principles of academic work and publications as set out in the regulations on the principles of good academic practice at Carl von Ossietzky University Oldenburg. For the bachelor's thesis, this assurance must be made in lieu of an oath. Written examinations are exempt from this regulation.
