When submitting the written examination results, including the Bachelor's thesis, the student must affirm in writing that he or she has written or designed the thesis independently and has not used any sources or aids other than those indicated and has followed the general principles of academic work and publications as laid down in the regulations on the principles for ensuring good academic practice at the Carl von Ossietzky University of Oldenburg. For the Bachelor thesis, this assurance must be made in lieu of an oath. Examinations are exempt from this regulation.
