Description
After a brief introduction to the basic principles of version control with Git and GitLab, participants will gain hands-on experience setting up repositories and projects in GitLab, performing common Git workflows such as checkout, pull, commit, push, branching, and merging, and collaborating using Kanban-style issue management. By the end of the workshop, you will have practiced the essential Git and GitLab skills needed for your own marine science projects.
