Career counselling

Career counselling is a service provided by the Study and Career Counselling Service (ZSKB).

Target group: Students and graduates up to one year after graduating from the University of Oldenburg

The focus is on career counselling that supports you in self-reflection and the development of your own professional profile. We do not place you in specific jobs, but support you through the process of clarification and decision-making.

Possible concerns can be

  • Questions about academic appointments
  • Skills assessment and identifying your strengths
  • Developing a personalised career profile
  • Doubts about the path taken so far
  • Upcoming application process
  • Decision-making questions
  • Potential career paths

Our understanding of conselling

Our counselling is individual, confidential and open-ended.

As counsellors, we are convinced that you are your own expert. During the process, we focus on your resources and support you in working towards your goals in a self-effective manner. We take time for your concerns and, if necessary, will also accompany you to a follow-up appointment.
