Guest Students
Welcome as a guest student at the University of Oldenburg!
Guest lecture programmes at the University of Oldenburg have a tradition stretching back more than 40 years: early on, the university set out to make university courses accessible to an interested public and thus forge stronger links between the university and the region. As a registered guest student, you can take advantage of the range of courses offered by the University of Oldenburg in a variety of ways, regardless of your previous educational and professional background or age:
You can take part in open courses according to your interests and your time, pursue targeted professional development, get a free "taster" of the various subject areas as a student in order to orientate yourself for a possible course of study and much more.
The following web pages will give you an insight into our programmes. We are also happy to advise you by phone or in person. Why don't you just drop by and visit us!
The courses open to guest students open to guest students and our additional offers for the summer semester 2026 will be available on our website from 1 March. The printed programme booklet with general information (without course selection) will then also be available and can be obtained free of charge at the following locations, among others
- Bültmann & Gerriets (Oldenburg city centre)
- Buch-Brader bookshop (Oldenburg city centre)
- Buchhandlung am Schlossplatz (Oldenburg city centre)
- Hemmieoltmanns bookshop (Famila Wechloy)
- Rosel Renken bookshop (Rastede city centre)
- Stationery shop "Buch & Papier" at the university (Uhlhornsweg)
- Directly in the C3L of the university (Ammerländer Heerstraße 136)
You are also welcome to order the programme booklet from us by email or telephone. We will then send it to you free of charge. Alternatively, you can download the programme on the left under "Info kompakt".
