Being on time: c.t. and s.t.
c.t. – cum tempore
C.T. (Latin: ‘with time’) refers to the ‘academic quarter’, i.e. the quarter of an hour by which a lecture or seminar begins later than stated in the course catalogue.
The notation ‘8–10 a.m. c.t.’ means that the session begins at 8.15 a.m. and ends at 9.45 a.m.
s.t. – sine tempore
s.t. (Latin: without time) means that a session begins at the specified time, not a quarter of an hour later.

CampusCard
At the University of Oldenburg, students are issued with a CampusCard, which serves as both a student ID card and a semester public transport pass. The CampusCard can also be used as a means of payment at the Studentenwerk’s ticket offices.
Account activation
Once your enrolment has been completed, you will receive an email containing your username, email address and initial password for your university account. You must first activate your account before you can use it.
For security reasons, you will then also need to set up two-factor authentication (2FA). If you have any questions, the IT Service Desk in the library or via will be happy to help.
