About the courses
Fundamentals of heterogeneous catalysis: adsorption, diffusion, reaction, kinetic; approaches of heterogeneous catalysis, concepts of catalysts with respect to energetic aspects, steric effects and electronic influences (metals, semiconductors, insulators), experimental methods for the physical and chemical characterisation of heterogeneous catalysts, e.g. metal oxides and zeolites including their application in catalytic processes (petrochemistry), in environmental catalysis and in organic/inorganic synthesis.
