The Trustworthy Digitalization of Security-Critical Energy Systems research platform is investigating how the trust of end consumers in an increasingly decentralized, automated energy system that is increasingly controlled by digital processes can be maintained and strengthened - and how this in turn contributes to a more secure energy system. To this end, a trust model is being developed that combines technical and sociological perspectives and is to be used as a theoretical basis for the development of trustworthy district energy systems. This trust model will be continuously reflected upon and improved through practical testing and implementation in a real laboratory.
