Orientation Week
To ensure that you can access relevant information for your studies at any time, even after the orientation week, a lot of information is permanently available on the University of Oldenburg website. For example, we have set up the ‘Study entry for first semester’ website. Here you will find clearly organised sections that will help you to find important information about your studies at any time.
For first-year students, the first semester begins with an orientation week in October 2025.
During the orientation week, you will be informed about the following things
- study structures
- the course of your degree programme and
- other interdisciplinary topics (e.g. financing your studies, opportunities to study abroad and much more)
And not to forget: You will get to know your new fellow students at the many events organised by students.
