The BA Gender Studies is a diverse and interdisciplinary study programme concerned with questions about gender, gender constructions, and their representations. Students learn to engage gender and other categories such as sexuality, ascriptions of ethnicity, class, or age from a Cultural Studies perspective, and to approach questions concerning gender using scholarly notions from different fields.

The degree programme is coordinated by the Faculty III AG Gender Studies and can be studied as first or second subject for 60 credit points, or as minor with 30 credit points alongside a main subject.
