All Keynote presentations and the Current Events panel will be streamed via Zoom for those who cannot attend the annual meeting in person.
Safe Spaces
A designated quiet room is open for all who wish to safely retreat from the busy conference program for some personal space, contemplation, and rest: building A04, room 00-004. The room is located on the ground floor, and it is equipped with yoga mats, cushions, and mediations benches for your convenience and comfort. It is open weekdays from 6 am to 10 pm.
An additional quiet room during the conference (A14 1-115) will be open for BIPOC members of the GAAS that provides a safe space and a place for rest and contemplation.
Child Care
We are in contact with the Weser-Ems Family Service who provide care for children between 3 and 12 years old for up to 5 children at a time. If you are travelling with a child and would like to make use of this offer, please let us know by using "Day Care" in the e-mail reference line. In your e-mail, please indicate the day you will require the service, for how many children and for how many hours. Please note that, at this point, we cannot guarantee to cover all childcare needs, but we’ll do our best to facilitate whatever is possible.
Buddy Program
A joint venture of the Diversity Roundtable and the PGF, the Buddy Program aims to provide a direct contact to a buddy in case any help is needed during the conference, whether that is for social or safety purposes. If you are interested in being or having a conference buddy, please register through the link, and/or reach out directly to the DR/PGF. Signing up for the program is entirely voluntary.
