Members of Carl von Ossietzky University can register with CAS from computers within the campus network. You can only register if you have a valid university email address.

Username: 5-15 characters

Password:

• 7-15 characters
• Mixed upper- and lowercase letters
• Numbers and non-alphanumeric characters (e.g. @,’,%,&,*)

Technical specifications for using the SciFinder Web Version

After online registration, CAS will send you a confirmation e-mail. This mail contains a link which you must click on once for full registration, allowing you to access CAS using your username and password via the SciFinder Web homepage.

Registration and verification after receiving the email link must be completed within 48 hours from the same computer!
