Starting 2009, an annual conference was organized by Prof. Katharina Al-Shamery. It was dedicated to excellent female scientists as speakers and was held in the Harz mountains in the city of Goslar (www.goslar.de), not far from the Brocken mountain (www.brocken-harz.de). After a decade of interesting talks, lively discussions and exciting after work parties, the series came to a (temporary) end.
