Research Profile
In recent years, the Department of Computer Science has developed a strongly application-oriented and interdisciplinary research profile in close cooperation with the affiliated institute OFFIS (Oldenburg Research and Development Institute for Computer Science Tools and Systems www.offis.de ), which is supported by professors from the Department. The application orientation of Oldenburg's computer science research is first reflected in the range of projects carried out at the university and OFFIS.
