The department
The Department currently has
- about 20 professors and their groups,
- about 1,400 students, about 50 scientific staff,
- three other Department-centric facilities that undertake service assignments in teaching and research,
- and a department administration.
Committees & Officers
The various committees of the Department prepare the important decisions for the Department. Following a positive decision by the Department, these are then usually adopted by the Faculty Council with final legal effect.
The Department has appointed various representatives to deal with special tasks, whom you can contact directly if you have any questions.
