In order to enrol as exchange student, you still need to be enrolled at a university in your home country. Prerequisite for enrolment at the University of Oldenburg are the payment of the semester contribution as well as proof of health insurance.

Enrolment at the University of Oldenburg will guarantee access to StudIP, the university’s online learning platform, as well as a semester ticket. The semester ticket allows you to travel freely within the region for the full six months of the semester.

Erasmus+ Internship

As part of Erasmus+, the European Commission provides scholarships for degree programme-relevant internships. An internship can last from 60 days to 12 months.

You have the opportunity to complete an internship in public or private institutions. Thus, both the University of Oldenburg and other companies and social/cultural organisations are eligible for an internship.

There does not have to be a partnership between the universities for an Erasmus+ placement at the University of Oldenburg. You have to organise the placement on your own, please proceed as described above.

For internships outside the University of Oldenburg, your contact person is the company/ organisation offering the internship. They are responsible for supporting you during your stay.

Your home university will inform you about the application requirements and formalities for financial support.
