Office Hours at the turn of the year
Division 3 services will be available up to and including Thursday, 18 December 2025.
From 22 December 2025 to 2 January 2026, SSC / A12 including the InfoLine will be closed. Division 3 services will be available again as normal from 5 January 2026.

Finances and scholarships
You should expect to spend about EUR 1000 per month for accommodation, health insurance, and food.
Estimated monthly expenses:
- Accommodation: EUR 200 to 450
- Health insurance: approx. EUR 140
- Food: EUR 250 to 350
- "Rundfunkbeitrag": monthly amount of EUR 18,36 per flat (can be splitted between flatmates)
- Miscellaneous expenses (e.g. leisure, books, materials, etc.)
Other expenses:
- Semester contribution (including semester ticket): EUR 340,80 for students of partner universities and DAAD scholarship holders, EUR 415,80 for Freemover (as of winter semester 2025/26)
- Residence permit for students from non-EU countries: EUR 110
- Intensive German language course during semester break: EUR 250
- Trips for international students: EUR 60 to 80 per weekend-trip
