Take part in our five-day online course (13 to 17 July 2026) for a gentle introduction to the German language and to get to know the University of Oldenburg, at no charge! 

In a total of 15 lessons with a professional teacher of German, you will learn your first words, form simple sentences and gain an insight into typical everyday situations.
You will also find out how exchange programmes work at the University of Oldenburg and what life in Germany is like. Plus, we will put you in touch with local students.

The number of participants is limited to 16 students from our partner universities. Also, at least 10 people have to register for it to take place.
To apply for the discovery course, please contact the International Office at your university. The application form must be submitted to us through your university. Please also note that your application does not entitle you to automatic participation. We will let you know you promptly after the application deadline whether you're in or not.
