Proposals for a dual degree programme
Are you currently studying for a Bachelor’s degree and would like to add two further subjects – in other words, undertake a dual degree programme? Is at least one of the two new subjects offered by School III, and is at least one of them a degree programme with restricted admission?
Are you currently studying on a degree programme with restricted admission and would like to apply for another degree programme with restricted admission (M.Ed. or M.A.)?
Please submit a proposal to the Dean of Studies at School III (by email to ).
Your proposal should include the following:
- Your name and student ID number.
- Which degree programme and combination of subjects are you currently studying?
- Which degree programme, with which combination of subjects, do you wish to study additionally as part of a dual degree programme?
- How do you plan to structure your studies? Please set this out in a table (including both degree programmes, with up to four subjects where applicable). Please do not plan to take on more than a maximum of 45 credit points per semester.
- Please explain why the new degree programme is a meaningful addition to your current studies.

Recognition of credits in dual degree programmes (Master’s)
Particularly when combining two master's degree programmes (master's degree programme + master's degree programme; master's degree programme + Master of Education), School III may, depending on the combination of degree programmes, recognise credits from one degree programme towards the other. Once you have decided on a specific combination of degree programmes, please book a consultation appointment (depending on your combination of subjects) with the programme coordinators on Stud.IP: Antje Beckmann or Nicole Griese.
