This short talk explores the conceptual distinctions between sexism, violence and sexualised violence, and highlights how power and hierarchical structures can facilitate violence. It also focuses on the question of what role each and every one of us plays in this and how, through our behaviour, we can help to make the university a safe and respectful place for everyone.
As part of the ‘mittags-info’ session, the conTakt counselling centre will also introduce itself and be available to answer questions regarding sexualised discrimination and violence.
