Graduate Academy reception

Following the Graduate School of Social Sciences and Humanities (3GO) Doctoral Candidates' Day, the Graduate Academy invites you to a reception on Wednesday, 7 November at 6.00 pm (Haarentor Campus, Aula A11).

The Graduate Academy invites interested parties to a reception on Wednesday, 7 November at 6 p.m. (Haarentor campus, building A11, auditorium). This will be preceded by the Graduate School for Social Sciences and Humanities (3GO) Doctoral Candidates' Day.

At the event, Prof Dr Bernd Siebenhüner, Vice President for Early Career Researchers and Quality Management, will also take a look back at one year of the Graduate Academy. There is now a comprehensive qualification programme with trainers for various interdisciplinary and specialist qualifications. It is organised in close cooperation with the Graduate Schools.

The evening is also intended to gather suggestions for the further development of the Graduate Academy. Siebenhüner emphasises that the development work is not yet complete. Currently on the agenda is the realisation of a joint web portal that bundles all offers for young academics. Cooperation with the Graduate Schools, university didactics, the Career Service and, last but not least, the cooperating universities is also to be further expanded.

Guests at the reception can look forward to a lecture by Erik Roßbander. The director and actor from the Bremen Shakespeare Company will talk about "The art of self-dramatisation".

The symphonic wind orchestra of the city of Oldenburg e.V. will provide the musical backdrop.
