Release of PV in the EU 2022 Status Report

As lead author and editor Ms. Anatoli Chatzipanagi, Greece (EMRE 2008-09), who is employed as Scientific Officer at the Joint Research Centre of the European Commission in Ispra, Italy, was mainly in charge of releasing the Photovoltaics in the European Union 2022 Status Report on Technology Development, Trends, Value Chains and Markets.

The report is a techno- and socio-economic analysis built on the:

  • technology state of the art, future developments and trends;
  • value chain analysis and;
  • EU position and global competitiveness of PV.

The above-mentioned report is part of the Clean Energy Technology Observatory (CETO) series reports. CETO monitors R&I activities in the clean energy sector that can help achieve a more resilient, independent, secure and affordable energy system. It also provides data and analysis for the European Commission’s annual progress report on the competitiveness of clean energy technologies (COM(2022) 643).
