New PPRE Staff members

Dr. Tanja Behrendt has happily re-joined the PPRE team after a five-years break, and Astrid Bohemann has newly joined the PPRE team in the areas of administration and application support.

After a five-years break, Tanja Behrendt is happy to join the PPRE team again. Between 2005 and 2017, she was part of PPRE as scientific employee being a supervisor in the labs and research assistant. Afterwards she extended her expertise in scientific and interdisciplinary education by teaching kids in a school and lecturing in the master programmes “Water and Coastal Management” as well as “Sustainability Economics and Management” (@ University of Oldenburg). Beyond her previous tasks (labs & lectures), she would like to foster international networks for exchange and cooperation of lecturers for the benefit  of  students of different disciplines within and outside the University of Oldenburg. For this purpose, Tanja is working in the PPRE team to support the projects "Innovation Plus - collaborative learning in an interdisciplinary context" and "International Virtual Academic Collaboration – Renewable Energy Project International".

In March 2023, Astrid Bohemann newly joined the PPRE team in the areas of administration and application support as well as marketing. In October 2021, she started studying the bachelor’s program Sustainability Economics at University of Oldenburg. One year later, she also moved from Bremen to Oldenburg. Originally, she comes from a small town near Oldenburg and has previously completed a bachelor’s degree in Communication and Media Studies at University of Bremen. She is excited to engage in many international encounters and to support all incoming students.
