Area of specialisation in the Bachelor's degree programme
The modules in the area of specialisation are completed by all Dual-subject Bachelor's students with the career goal of becoming a teacher or a non-teaching career goal.
Modules totalling 30 CP must be taken in the area of specialisation.
Depending on the career goal, different modules are taken in the area of specialisation.
Area of specialisation for students with the career goal of becoming a teacher
The area of specialisation for students with the career goal of becoming a teacher is also called "educational sciences".

In addition to the three compulsory modules (biw210, biw215, biw220), students with the career goal of teaching Special Needs Education take two compulsory elective modules. Information on the compulsory elective modules can be found here.

The regulations for the area of specialisation for students with an extracurricular career goal can be found in the Annex 3a of the Bachelor's examination regulations (Area of specialisation - teaching profession).
Appendix 3a contains the complete range of modules from which modules totalling 30 CP must be completed.
