University measures in equal opportunity

Two new measures to improve the compatibility of career and family and that can now be used by junior professors, junior research group leaders, tenure track professors and other postdoctoral researchers. The measures are financed from the strategy premium for the tenure-track professorships successfully acquired in the Federal-Länder Programme for the Promotion of Young Academics:
 
Individual coaching: The University of Oldenburg offers the target group individual coaching sessions with qualified coaches in the run-up to the birth or adoption of a child, as well as shortly before and for several months after returning to work.
 
Funds for the temporary deployment of support staff: The University of Oldenburg offers the target group the opportunity to temporarily finance an auxiliary employee to relieve the burden at the workplace during phases of special family demands.
