About IT Services
Following the "Mission Statement of the University of Oldenburg 2010", the IT services have set themselves up in a process-oriented way. In the IT context, this means that we are guided by the proposals for IT service management as formulated in ISO 20.000 and the IT Infrastructure Library. Accordingly, the managers are primarily oriented towards their service and process responsibility.
In addition to service and process orientation, line responsibility is also part of a manager's scope of action in a hierarchical organisation. In our direct management relationships, we use the means of goal-oriented personnel management with annual appraisals, personal development plans and jour fixes.
