Aquatic Ecology and Nature Conservation
Research Group Aquatic Ecology and Nature Conservation
Our research focuses on two thematic fields: aquatic and vector ecology. In the aquatic research, we study invertebrate communities living in running waters, ditches and temporary systems. In the field of vector ecology, we study mosquitoes, biting midges and blackflies. We analyze the effects of ecological parameters on the distribution and population dynamics of invertebrates of both thematic fields. We study how the species respond to environmental changes.
