4th Cross-Border health research meet-up 2024

Building bridges for cross-border cooperation in health in the DE-NL border

On November 18, 2024, the fourth cross-border health meet-up took place at the House of Connections in the heart of Groningen city. The event was co-organized by the CBI and the Rijnland Instituut. Around 100 persons from both sides of the border and with diverse professional backgrounds attended the event. More details about the event can be found here.

The CBI, launched in 2019, is a joint initiative of University of Groningen (UG) and Oldenburg (UOL) and their medical faculties, supported by Aletta Jacobs School of Public Health (incl. UMCG) at UG and Department of Health Services Research at UOL.

Why to have a cross-border health institute in the Northern Dutch-German border region?

The CBI, launched in February 2019, is a joint initiative of the School of Medicine and Health Sciences of the University of Oldenburg and the University of Groningen / University Medical Center Groningen. The Aletta Jacobs School of Public Health in Groningen and the Department of the Health Services Research of the University of Oldenburg serve as coordinators of the CBI.
