Gender Equality/Diversity in the Planning and Development Unit

In addition to acknowledging the diversity of its members, affiliates and guests, the University of Oldenburg wants to enable participation and counteract existing advantages and disadvantages. The inclusion of students and employees with health impairments is understood as a process of acceptance and of shaping diversity, which is guided, among others, by the Employer's Inclusion Manager ('Inklusionsbeauftragte') and the Representative for Persons with Severe Disabilities ('Schwerbehindertenvertretung'). As part of the Diversity Audit of the Stifterverband, the University of Oldenburg is currently developing a strategy to establish diversity structurally and sustainably as a cross-cutting issue.
