Erasmus+ staff mobility for training and further education
Funding for mobility projects that take place in the calendar year 2023 will be coordinated through the Erasmus 2022 project.
Mobility periods usually last one working week. While the Erasmus programme requires participants to stay 2 to 60 days, only up to 20 working days can be funded under the 2022 Erasmus project. Weekend days will only be funded if the host institution proves that activities related to the stay have taken place on these days.
Application and selection process
Applications may be submitted on a rolling basis, but you should apply at least six weeks prior to the start of your trip.
Required documents:
- Application form
- Letter of motivation explaining the international aspect in your work and describing your project.
- Letter of invitation from the host institution, if applicable.
- Proof of language skills, if applicable
Members of staff who are eligible for funding will be notified by the International Office and informed about the further procedure (see Erasmus-STT fact sheet).
Selection criteria
If the application meets the basic requirements and you have your supervisor's (and ideally the host institution's) approval, you can receive funding, provided sufficient Erasmus funds are available.
Staff who have not yet had an Erasmus mobility will be given preference if they have the same qualifications.
Please contact Christa Weers for more information on programmes at partner universities, for assistance in contacting partner universities, and with any queries you may have.
Experience reports from former participants (in German)
A selection of reports written by staff who have previously completed a mobility stay is available for prospective applicants.
