As most experience reports are written in German, they can be found in the German-language version of this website. However, some of them are in English and there is additional information about our partner universities including for example information videos and brochures that are mostly available in English.

How to write a student experience report
All students participating in an exchange programme at a partner university of the University of Oldenburg have to hand-in an experience report.
Writing your experience report, please pay attention to the following aspects:
- Preparation (planning, organisation, and application at the host institution)
- Travel and arrival
- Accommodation
- Studying at the host university (courses, academic performance/credits, support, credit transfer)
- Everyday life and leisure time
- General experience, credit transfer, conclusion (tips for other students, DOs and DONTs)
Experience reports on studying abroad with disabilities
- Semester abroad in Great Britain and Belgium with visual and incipient hearing impairment (English video with subtitles)
