Here, you will find out more about the work, tasks and aims of the Institute for Chemistry and Biology of the Marine Environment, abbreviated as ICBM.

The ICBM is the only marine research institute of Lower Saxony that is university-based. Being an integral part of the University of oldenburg, the institute additionaly trains specialized young scientists.
