Oldenburg. An international team of researchers around Dr. Torben Struve, ICBM, postulates that future climate changes could possibly be amplified by the release of CO2 from deep waters of the Southern Polar Sea. This is due to the complex balance of water masses, depending delicately on the wind regime around the southern continent. The findings were published in the recent issue of PNAS.
