For the so-called ‘major placement’ (for non-teacher-training BA and Master’s students), the following list of requirements is provided:

1. Description of the placement institution and its role/position within the local cultural and musical scene (see the ‘Music Industry’ seminar).
   
2. Discussion of a problem or set of problems currently facing the institution in question (changes in the recent past and present), along with proposed solutions.
3. Description of the specific scope of work (tasks) during the placement (e.g. editorial, organisational or artistic tasks, etc.).
   
4. Explanations regarding the relevant professional field/profile:
   
   • as a future career path (employed, freelance, self-employed)
   • Requirements regarding education and further training
   • possibly including CVs of people working at the internship institution (social and economic situation, prospects)
