The jury honoured outstanding credits such as very good examination grades and short study times, but also exceptional commitment to projects and initiatives and voluntary work. Prof Dr Gunilla Budde, Vice President for Studies and Teaching, Florian Maaß and Andreas Discher from EWE AG as well as Marc Arkenau, Ann-Kristin van Dülmen and Britta Stichmüller from OLB were present at the ceremony.

The individual prizes of 500 euros went to Anjo Appelhans (music/history), Sebastian Decker (chemistry), Franziska Füller (social sciences), Elsa Gieseke (English/art), Maike Franziska Osterburg (special education/elementary maths), Fabio Priano (Special Education/History), Siri Rackebrandt (Marine Environmental Sciences), Andreas Rehfeldt (Business Informatics), Crispin Reinhold (Chemistry) and Julia Twachtmann (Special Education/Art and Media).
