Martin Knipper studied physics at the university of Oldenburg and did his diploma- as well as his PhD-thesis about organic solar cells. He worked in the EHF department (Prof. Jürgen Parisi) at the university of Oldenburg for over 14 years, where he researched both solar cells and energy storage devices. In the last two years he has initiated and worked on various projects about the energy transition at the “House of Energy” in Kassel. The topics of his projects were e.g. digitalization of the energy system and sector coupling of electricity with the mobility and heating sector.
