Publication lists are often derived from existing databases, which are therefore maintained elsewhere and are then to be displayed on a website. At the UOL, two methods are supported for this purpose: listing publications from the university bibliography (HSB) and the formatted output of bibliographies based on files in BIB format.

  Publication data from university members is maintained in the library's university bibliography.
• Generating publication lists from BibTeX files
  Bibliographies can be exported as a file from a reference management programme in a standardised format (here: BibTeX) and then displayed on a website.
