General admission requirements:

Admission requirements for the Master's degree programme are a Bachelor's degree or an equivalent degree in a suitable previous degree programme with at least 180 credit points.

A previous degree programme in nursing, nursing/health sciences, midwifery/science, therapy sciences or another suitable degree programme (e.g. nursing education, nursing management) is deemed suitable if it includes competences amounting to at least

• 20 credit points in the field of nursing science/research
• and 15 credit points in the area of evidence-based clinical nursing practice

and integrates nursing vocational training or has it as an admission requirement. If the previous degree programme does not integrate the training, this must be proven separately.

Special admission requirements:

Sufficient German and English language skills must be demonstrated for this degree programme:

• Proof of German language proficiency at level C1 for applicants whose native language is not German and who have neither a German university entrance qualification nor a first university degree in a degree programmes taught in German.

• Proof of English language skills at level B1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).

The following documents must be attached to the proposal:

• Bachelor's degree and transcript of records
• Proof of the number of semesters studied to date
• Completed specific admission form (special eligibility form)

If applicable:

• Certificate of internships or professional experience
• Topic of the Bachelor's thesis
