Gender Equality/Diversity

The work area of Equal Opportunities within the Unit for Structural Planning and Development includes the following tasks:

  • Development of university-wide concepts and strategies focusing on gender equality and diversity
  • Supporting structural development planning in the area of Equal Opportunities (especially with regard to gender equality and diversity)
  • Coordinating the development, implementation and evaluation of the University’s Gender Equality Action Plan
  • Development and implementation of the University’s diversity strategy
  • Coordinating internal and external reporting on gender equality and diversity
  • Designing, implementing and evaluating measures, projects and programs to promote gender equality
    (e. g. for the Female Professors Programme of the federal government and the German states)
  • Networking within the university as well as with external actors
