Jörg Stahlmann has been a full-time member of the Board of the University of Oldenburg since 1 January 2015.

He completed his administrative training at the Göttingen District Administration, then worked in the Human Resources Department at University Medical Center Göttingen. In 1994, he joined the Finance Department at the University of Oldenburg. He became head of the department in 2007.

Jörg Stahlmann studied part-time at the Verwaltungs- und Wirtschaftsakademie Oldenburg (Academy of Administration and Economics in Oldenburg) and obtained a degree in business administration.
