Furthering its mission, stating that technology innovations should not 'only' be researched and implemented, but must be reflected in an interdisciplinary discurse and shaped responsibly, the RC pursues the following objectvies:

  • Synergetic, interdisciplinary networking to establish and strengthen internationally visible cutting edge research in the thematic profile of the RC HCPS.
  • Strengthening basic research in selected research areas within the thematic profile of the RC to achieve highly visible results and solutions to open challenges in basic research.
  • Combining the two objectives above and in cooperation with research partners in the region, to acquire top-class research projects in this area on state, national and European level.
  • Creating sustainable research innovations with high industrial relevance.
  • Systematic extension and provision of living labs as demonstrators and experimental platforms for research innovations.
