The university offers training in eleven academic appointments, the diversity of which was presented by the trainees and their trainers at a careers orientation fair at the weekend. Seven apprenticeships are currently being advertised - until 13 October.
At the "job4u" stand, interested parties were able to talk to the apprentices and trainers and view and try out various exhibits - including a "lightsaber". The Vice President for Administration and Finance, Jörg Stahlmann, also paid a visit to the stand in the Weser-Ems-Halle.
Interested parties were also able to find out about study opportunities at the university, as the Central Student and Career Counselling Service was also on site for the first time this year. For degree programmes with open admissions, last-minute applicants can still enrol for the winter semester, which is already approaching, until 15 October. Applications for one of the apprenticeships, whether as an IT specialist or precision mechanic, chemical laboratory technician or media designer, are still possible until 13 October.
