Save the Date: April 27, 2024

For one night the university library will transform into a festive dance hall. Let yourself be surprised and experience the library from a different perspective. Usually a place to learn and study, it will for this night be a place for dancing, chatting, laughing, eating and drinking. The library’s architecture and a custom lighting installation will create a unique atmosphere; the circulation desk will turn into a cocktail bar, the library’s foyer into the dance floor.

Big band live music will call our guests onto the dance floor. The well-known Tanzorchester Pik10 plays hits of the past fifty years: classics of dance music, rock music and disco highlights right up to current hits. At midnight, DJ Norman Harms takes over for the rest of the night.

The "Catering & Eventmanufaktur Haase" will provide beverages and from 7 to 10 p.m. a rich finger-food buffet.
