ChemDraw

What is ChemDraw?

ChemDraw is the quasi-standard of chemical structure editors. On the market since 1985, it has evolved into a comprehensive software suite designed to facilitate communication and efficiency in chemical research. Its tools enable the simple and efficient creation of publication-quality chemical structures and diagrams. ChemDraw helps to transform ideas and drawings into professional presentations, reports and publications.

Campus license

The ChemDraw Professional suite is available via campus license since 24.9.2012 with the current license being valid until September 2029.
As of April 2024, the current version number is 23.1.

Access to ChemDraw is available to all staff and students. To register use the following link: https://connect.revvitysignals.com/sitesubscription/

First, please search for "CvO Universitat Oldenburg".
Click on the register button. For your registration use the domain @uni-oldenburg.de of your email address (do not use short forms such as "@uol.de")!
Once you have successfully logged in, you will be taken to an overview (List Entitlements)

If you have already registered, you can access the Overview page directly via this link. There, select "Download Now" for the latest entry, usually on the far right, and you will be taken to the next menu.

Download and installation

Select your package, download it and install it. When starting the installation, you will be asked for an activation code.

You will find it (red box in figure below) on the overview page List Entitlements in the line of the current Entitlement ID (currently ORD74368). Copy/note it and enter it in the installation menu. The code is also displayed again on the product download page.

You can install the program without the activation code but have to enter it during the first program startup,
