On 29 May, the Presidential Board of the University of Oldenburg adopted a guideline for data protection at the university.

In addition to a commitment to data protection as a management task, the guideline contains, among other things

• Regulations on responsibility
• Guiding statements on data protection
• Data protection goals
• Data protection strategy (incl. data protection organisation)
