The Centre for Educational Research and Management (CERM-ESA), established in collaboration with four partner universities in southern Africa and funded by the DAAD, has now been in existence for 12 years. The annual newsletter reports on joint events that have taken place, introduces the new scholarship holders and provides updates on the Centre’s current activities at Moi University. Between February and April 2026, a number of DAAD-funded scholarship holders from Kenya will once again be joining us at the Institute to work on their Master’s or PhD projects. They will be supervised by Malve v. Möllendorff, Karsten Speck and his team, as well as by Bernd Siebenhüner from School II.
