Then, in addition to the specialised and didactic parts of your subjects, you will also study educational science content, which at the C.v.O. University of Oldenburg, the majority of which is the responsibility of School I - School of Educational and Social Sciences.

According to the definition of the Standing Conference of the Ministers of Education and Cultural Affairs of the Länder in the Federal Republic of Germany (KMK), educational sciences comprise "the academic disciplines that deal with educational processes, educational systems and their framework conditions".
As part of the Educational Sciences degree programme at the C.v.O. University of Oldenburg, students develop a broad and integrated knowledge of the fundamentals of educational processes within and outside of school contexts, of communication and interaction as the fundamental elements of teaching and educational activities, and of the analysis and assessment of learning strategies and their possible applications.
